Logo of Expo 2010 Shanghai:
Three green figures depicting the image of three people, you, me and him/her holding their hands together which symbolize one, big family of mankind. Logo was inspired by the shape of the Chinese character meaning the world and designed to reflect the diversity of urban cultures of the world.
Mascot of Expo 2010 Shanghai:
The figure Hai Bao which means “The Treasure of the Ocean” and is also a typical lucky name in Chinese tradition.
The hair is like the wave of the sea, its moves represent its open character and hospitality, by its thumb up it shows the appreciation and warm welcome to the friends from all over the world.. The mascot was created from the Chinese character for mankind. Blue colour refers to water and reflects the fact that Hai Bao has its home in the seaside city Shanghai.
